Welcome to Amber Otter Lane. By visiting and using this website ("the site", "the lane"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.

1. What Amber Otter Lane is

The lane is an independent editorial curation project. We describe and recommend small indie Android games and link out to their official listings on Google Play. We do not develop, publish, sell, host, or distribute any of the games featured, and we take no part in any transaction between you and a developer or store.

2. No affiliation

Amber Otter Lane is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC, Google Play, Apple Inc., or any of the studios whose games we feature. All product names, logos, icons and artwork are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial commentary only.

3. Editorial opinion

Ratings, blurbs, spotlights and "keepers' picks" reflect our honest opinions and reader input at the time of writing. Games change, prices change, and availability varies by region. We make no guarantee that a featured game will remain available, unchanged, or suited to your device or taste. Any prices shown are indicative, in Canadian dollars (CAD), and the developer's listing on Google Play is always the final word.

4. Third-party links

The site contains links to third-party websites and app listings. We provide them for convenience and do not control or endorse their content, terms or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk, and those third parties' terms will govern your use of their services.

5. Acceptable use

When using the lane, you agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or overload the site or its infrastructure;
• copy, scrape or republish our original text or design for commercial use without permission;
• submit false, abusive or infringing content through our contact form or newsletter.

The original wording, layout, illustrations and branding of Amber Otter Lane are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright. You may share links to our pages freely. You may not reproduce substantial parts of our original content without our written consent.

If you join the lane letter or enable browser notifications, you agree to receive occasional updates about new windows and games. You may unsubscribe or disable notifications at any time. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
